These works are part of my third solo painting exhibition titled "The Child that lives within ourselves", which took place in the Municipal Gallery of Kallithea "Sophia Laskaridou" in December 2017 and deals with childhood concerns as well as the adult who remains always a child.
This painting places a little Muslim girl as a pawn in a chessboard of negotiations and symbolizes the betrayal and the suffering refugees face nowadays.
